Marvel Mystic Mayhem, a new mobile tactical RPG, is currently in soft launch in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK. Assemble a team of magical Marvel heroes to combat the forces of Nightmare in this latest mobile offering from NetEase.
The game features distinct cel-shaded visuals and allows players to recruit both well-known and lesser-known Marvel characters, from Iron Man and Doctor Strange to more obscure heroes like Armour and Sleepwalker. Players will build their teams to battle Nightmare, a villain capable of manipulating dreams in a parallel reality.
Is it Too Much Marvel?
The primary concern might be the sheer volume of Marvel mobile games. Marvel Mystic Mayhem's gameplay doesn't drastically deviate from other titles in the genre, relying instead on its unique premise and character roster to differentiate itself. Whether this is a positive or negative will likely depend on individual player preferences and whether they seek a departure from games like Marvel Future Fight.
