Beta Launching September 5

PlayStation 5 players will get exclusive early access to MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls through its first closed beta test (CBT). Announced at EVO VEGAS 2025 by Arc System Works, Marvel Games, and PlayStation Studios, the beta runs from September 5-7, 2025.

PDT timezone players gain access starting September 5, while JST and UTC participants can join from September 6. Interested players should visit the official PlayStation beta website to complete the registration form.

Participation requires an active PlayStation Network account and internet connection. Selected testers will receive email invitations with further instructions.

Closed Beta Gameplay Features

The beta trailer unveiled key features including six playable characters, online matches, spectator mode, and training tutorials. EVO 2025 attendees experienced a live demo during the Developer Combat Panel, which showcased detailed gameplay mechanics.

The beta will incorporate rollback netcode for seamless online battles. Virtual lobbies will allow players to navigate using Marvel-themed avatars, searching for opponents or spectating matches.

Mirroring the EVO 2025 demo, the beta includes six iconic characters: Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, and Doctor Doom, battling across New York City's dynamic arenas.
