How to Start Master Schindel's Toys Quest

To initiate the Master Schindel's Toys quest, you need to be on the Into the Underworld main mission. Your objective is to find an informant named Goatskin. During your investigation, visit the bathhouse and speak with the Bathhouse Madam first, followed by Adam. Adam will inform you that Goatskin is the one who stole Master Schindel's items.

Next, you'll need to locate Goatskin. He's quite elusive, so you'll have to coax him out. You can either talk to Lousy Mary or follow Udo. I suggest speaking with Udo, who frequents the bathhouse's first floor in the evening. Instruct him to leave, then tail him discreetly. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in an alley, providing you the opportunity to confront him.

While interrogating Goatskin, you can also try to acquire a map from him. If you fail the skill check, you'll need to bribe him. He'll reveal that the Map of Kuttenberg Underground is on a body at the Kuttenberg gallows, southeast of the city.

Retrieve the map from the hanging corpse. With the map in hand, navigate the underground area, which is notoriously difficult and easy to get lost in.

Finding the Stolen Items in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

To quickly find the stolen items and complete the Master Schindel's Toys quest, head to the northern entrance of the open area. Descend the ladder to enter the Kuttenberg Underground. Remember to equip your torch, as it's pitch black down there.

Continue making left turns until you reach a barrel at a dead end. At one point, you'll need to jump to a lower level. Keep turning left at each junction until you discover Goatskin's hidden stash. Inside the barrel, you'll find a book and an astrolabe.

Return to the surface using the same route. Master Schindel is typically found on the northeastern side of the city during the day. Approach him to complete the quest. Initially, he might be irritable, but returning his items will soften his demeanor. He'll then explain the astrolabe and the workings of the planets.
