"Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Unveils Stunning New Opening Movie"

Author : Simon Update:May 25,2025

As we eagerly approach the August release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Konami has unveiled the stealth game's opening movie. This cinematic introduction is sure to strike a chord with fans of the original, despite some subtle changes. From the iconic newspapers scrolling across the screen to the James Bond-esque theme song, masterfully reprised by Cynthia Harrell, the essence of the classic remains intact.

The video offers tantalizing glimpses of key moments from the game, though without context. Highlights include Snake's dramatic backward leap off a waterfall, reminiscent of an Olympic diver, and the memorable scene of Snake consuming a snake, staying true to his moniker "Snake Eater."

PlayMetal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a remake of Konami's acclaimed 2004 action espionage title, originally titled without the "Delta" suffix. Konami has recently confirmed that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will launch on August 28, and fans will be pleased to know that the beloved Snake vs. Monkey minigame is making a return. Additionally, the game will retain the suggestive and sexual content from Metal Gear Solid 3, including the Peep Demo Theatre, as indicated by an age rating.

IGN's preview of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater suggests that while the game is visually stunning, it leans more towards a high-definition remaster than the innovative remake some might have hoped for. It's described as a "beautiful nostalgia trip" that remains almost excessively faithful to the original. The original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater received an impressive score of 9.6 from IGN, reflecting its enduring legacy and the high expectations for this remake.
