Locate Mutt, Your Loyal Canine Companion, in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2!
This guide provides a straightforward method to find Henry's missing dog, Mutt, in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. While a side quest involves finding him, this shortcut saves you time.
Mutt's Location:
Mutt is situated near a wolf cave southwest of the Nomads' Camp, just east of the river bathing spot. The image below pinpoints his exact location.
Fast travel to the Nomads' Camp for easy access. Follow the path southwest into the woods; you'll likely find yourself above the cave. You'll hear Mutt's whimpers as you approach. He's in a clearing near the cave, surrounded by wolves.
Approaching triggers a cutscene introducing Mutt and a wolf pack, along with a combat command tutorial. Choose to fight or flee the wolves. While combat is manageable, fighting them offers a skill-boosting opportunity.
After the encounter, Mutt becomes your companion. Hold L1 (while facing him) to interact, feed him, or send him home.
Finding Mutt During the "Invaders" Quest:
Interestingly, you might discover Mutt's location while completing the "Invaders" quest, specifically if you interact with the Cumans. Following Vasko while intoxicated leads directly to the cave, triggering the cutscene. However, fighting wolves while drunk and in the dark is significantly more challenging.
It's strongly advised to rescue Mutt before proceeding with the "Invaders" quest. Navigating the wolves in the dark, while under the influence of alcohol, is extremely difficult and risky.
