Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Start April 24 in U.S., $449

Nintendo has officially announced that pre-orders for the eagerly awaited Nintendo Switch 2 will commence in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The company confirmed that the console's launch date will remain on June 5, and it will retain its original price of $449.99. This exciting news was shared on Nintendo's official website, where they also mentioned that due to changes in market conditions, some Switch 2 accessories will undergo price adjustments from those previously announced on April 2. Additionally, Nintendo noted that future adjustments to the prices of any of their products could occur, depending on market fluctuations.

Alongside the consistent pricing for the base console, Nintendo assured fans that the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will stay priced at $499.99. Both the physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World will be available at $79.99, and Donkey Kong Bananza will remain at $69.99 at launch, ensuring that gamers know what to expect when they plan their purchases.
