Pokemon TCG Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Updates Rewards

The Pokémon TCG Pocket app's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues! Part two is now live, bringing fresh cosmetic rewards to the in-game shop.

New Blastoise-themed goodies include a player icon, coin, card sleeves, and a stylish Blue & Blastoise playmat. These items, along with the usual Shinedust exchange (50 Shinedust per event ticket, up to 1000 Shinedust total), are available until January 28th. However, remember that event tickets stop dropping on January 22nd, so don't delay!

Following a busy holiday period of free booster packs and Pack Hourglasses, the event provides a welcome reason for daily logins. Many players have already completed the Mythical Island booster packs and anticipate the next expansion, rumored for late January. The confirmed reusability of Pack Hourglasses in future expansions has fueled player hoarding.

This second phase builds upon the first, which introduced Squirtle and Charmander promo cards (with unique artwork, but identical attacks to their standard counterparts) and a Blue & Blastoise backdrop/cover. New missions offer Event Shop Tickets for participating in Wonder Picks and collecting Fire/Water-type cards. These missions are cumulative across both event parts, and the Bonus Pick also awards tickets, simplifying item acquisition. Daily logins are crucial for completing all missions and obtaining all items, especially considering the rumored untradeability of the promo cards. The event's second part runs until January 22nd, with the shop remaining open until January 28th.
