Pokemon Center Hiroshima is moving! The store will temporarily close in March 2025 and reopen at a new location in April 2025. Excitingly, a new Gyarados Plaza is opening this March. Let's explore the details.

New Location for Pokemon Center Hiroshima

Pokémon Center Hiroshima's Gyarados Plaza is Oddly Not a Water Park

The Pokemon Center Hiroshima will relocate to the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station, around April 2025. This marks a move from its current location on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, where it's been since June 2015.

The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" will debut on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza, located within the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment, offering a fun experience for visitors of all ages. Initially, reservations will be required to use the playground equipment. Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event

Pokémon Center Hiroshima's Gyarados Plaza is Oddly Not a Water Park

To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers, participating Pokemon Centers across Japan (including Hiroshima before its closure) will host a nationwide event. Obtain an exclusive sticker by visiting any participating store and providing a password found in a Poke-lun TV YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024).

Pokémon Center Hiroshima's Gyarados Plaza is Oddly Not a Water Park

Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa will feature special photo spots themed after the Poke-lun TV hosts (Takkun, Tokichan, Ha-chan, Tai-chan, and Riri-chan).

The event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025. Don't miss out on these exciting opportunities! Note: This event excludes Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafe, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe.
