Sony has unveiled its next PlayStation 5 and PC title, Mukti, acquired through the Sony India Hero Project initiative.
Created by underDOGS Studio, Mukti is a first-person narrative adventure set in an Indian museum. The developers describe it as an experience that "addresses a crucial societal challenge requiring global awareness - the issue of human trafficking."

In Mukti, players explore the museum's intricate halls to uncover disturbing truths about human trafficking. Through compelling storytelling and immersive mechanics, the game reveals the harsh realities confronting victims and survivors, illuminating this urgent worldwide crisis.
Rooted in authentic accounts and thorough historical research, Mukti seeks to educate audiences, stimulate discussion, and motivate action. Every interaction is crafted to promote understanding, foster dialogue, and encourage positive change.
UnderDOGS Studio confirmed its collaboration with PlayStation to optimize DualSense controller features, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that "heighten immersion during quiet puzzle-solving moments."

Sony's Hero Project program supports independent developers worldwide through development resources, publishing assistance, and marketing expertise. Examples include the China Hero Project's upcoming title Lost Soul Aside.
