Pokémon Go Launches Tales of Transformation Event

The Tales of Transformation season has officially launched in Pokémon Go, introducing creatures from the Kalos region. Niantic is quickly populating the event calendar. To celebrate the season’s arrival, two themed events are scheduled over the coming weeks—one tied to the Netflix series Pokémon Concierge and the other introducing a long-awaited Mega Evolution.

First is the Pokémon Concierge Celebration Event, running from September 9th to 14th. As Netflix’s stop-motion series returns with new episodes, Pokémon Go marks the occasion by releasing Psyduck wearing a swim ring, complete with a chance of encountering its shiny variant.

Wild encounters will include Sealeo and Shinx, while raids will feature favorites like Dragonite, Luxray, and Pikachu. Lucky players may even find a special background themed around Psyduck during encounters.

Beyond new spawns, players can look forward to bonuses like double Catch Candy, improved Buddy item fetching, and Timed Research with rewards such as Stardust and a new avatar pose. Haru’s Aloha Shirt will also be available as a free permanent item in the shop, adding a relaxing vacation feel to the collaboration.

But first comes an even splashier debut. Mega Sharpedo Raid Day takes place on September 7th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time, marking the Mega Evolution's grand entrance.
