PUBG Mobile Returns to Riyadh for EWC 2025

PUBG Mobile is making a grand return to the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025, scheduled from July 25th to August 3rd. This prestigious tournament will see 24 of the globe's elite teams vying for supremacy and a slice of the hefty $3 million prize pool.

Following their unprecedented success in 2024, all eyes are on Alpha7 Esports to see if they can repeat their glory. The competition kicks off with the Group Stage from July 25th to 27th, where teams will be divided into three groups of eight, battling it out for a spot in the Grand Finals.

The top eight teams will advance directly to the Grand Finals, while the remaining sixteen will fight for survival in the Survival Stage. From this stage, eight additional teams will secure their place in the final showdown, which will take place from August 1st to 3rd. Only one team will emerge as the champion, claiming the lion's share of the prize money.

They dominated the 18-match Grand Finals, securing five Chicken Dinners and earning an additional $25,000 for their record-breaking performance, which brought their total earnings to over $467,000. Their consistent performance and firepower were evident as they tied with Team Liquid for 91 points in the Group Stage, securing a direct spot in the Grand Finals, where they finished in the top four in nearly half of their matches.
