Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, including a fresh set of challenges rewarding players with free items, such as a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.
What is Recursive Destruction?
The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge introduces Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object, causing it to reappear in its original state. However, not all objects qualify.
Locating Destructible Objects
To identify eligible objects, utilize Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad). Only red-highlighted objects trigger Recursive Destruction.
Triggering Recursive Destruction in Midtown
This challenge requires playing Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects appear. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then become available for Recursive Destruction.
During gameplay, target these buildings. While the reappearance might be missed in the action, several hits should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
