Acquiring Shoes:
While you begin with a pair, replacements are readily available. Loot chests and fallen enemies (poachers, etc.) often yield shoes. Alternatively, purchase them from vendors. Tailors offer shoes, but cobblers provide superior options. Locate a cobbler (map icon: three red circles) – one is found early in Trosky. Cobblers, like Matthew in Trosky, also sell horse gear, blacksmithing kits, and cobbler's kits.
Repairing Shoes:
Several methods exist for shoe repair. Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services; the cost depends on your Craftsmanship skill level (perks grant discounts).
Alternatively, self-repair is possible using a Cobbler's Kit. These kits are purchased from various vendors (including cobblers and blacksmiths) or found as loot. To use a kit, access your inventory, select the kit, and use the interact button ("E" on PC). A menu appears, listing repairable items. Faded items indicate insufficient Craftsmanship skill. Select items and use the interact button again to initiate repair.
