TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to combine the turn-based combat of the original with roguelite elements, creating a highly replayable monster-collecting experience. The Steam page boasts 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer:
The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile game. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile and whether its release coincides with the Steam and Switch versions. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist here. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems ideally suited for quick play sessions. In the meantime, the original Coromon is available for free on iOS here. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet? Have you played the original Coromon?
