Slothwerks, the creative force behind the acclaimed Meteorfall series, has just unveiled the latest addition to their lineup: Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble. This new card battler is now open for pre-registration on Android devices. As the third installment following Meteorfall (2017) and Meteorfall: Krumit's Tale (2019), Rustbowl Rumble is slated for release next month, promising to captivate fans once again.
What’s the Setting?
Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is a roguelike deckbuilder where fast-paced matches challenge you to bend the rules rather than follow them. You'll be engaging in battles to impress a bloodthirsty crowd by strategically playing cards. The game introduces a squad-based system where you select three heroes from a diverse pool of eight, each equipped with their unique deck.
With over 200 cards at your disposal, you have the flexibility to customize your deck mid-run with layered upgrades. The inclusion of Wild Cards allows you to break conventional rules, enabling you to execute impressive feats during battles and earn valuable buffs.
When you're not in the thick of combat, you'll find yourself in Bramble Town. Here, you'll face critical decisions: should you enhance your deck, train your heroes, or simply explore and immerse yourself in the town's eccentricity?
Pre-Registration for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble Is Now Live
Originally announced under the name Bramble Royale, the game was rebranded to Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble to avoid confusion with battle royale games. This strategic move ensures that fans of the Meteorfall series will recognize it as part of the same quirky and imaginative universe. Check out the game's atmosphere in the trailer below:
If you're a fan of the series, you can pre-register for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble on the Google Play Store. Mark your calendars for the launch date on June 25th, 2025, and prepare to dive into this engaging world for $6.99.
