Gear up with your webbing, because Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy is swinging back to theaters this fall for a limited-time weekend event from Fathom Entertainment.
The celebration kicks off on September 26 with the original Spider-Man, followed by a special treat the next day. On September 27, theaters will showcase Spider-Man 2 in a brand-new 4K presentation of the extended cut - now officially titled Spider-Man 2.1. This marks the first-ever theatrical screening of this version, featuring previously unseen deleted and extended scenes. The trilogy concludes on September 28 with showings of Spider-Man 3.
"2002's Spider-Man success story helped define today's superhero film era. Tobey Maguire's portrayal of Spider-Man continues to inspire fans of all ages," Fathom Entertainment CEO Ray Nutt stated in an exclusive comment to Variety.
"At Fathom, we honor the spirit of fandom, and I'm thrilled that Spider-Man 2.1 in 4K will premiere on the big screen - an exciting gift for devoted fans and an unforgettable experience for new audiences."
Can't make the first weekend? The trilogy returns for encore screenings October 3-5, giving fans another chance to experience this cinematic event or enjoy the complete saga again.
