- Samsung is set to bring their popular trivia game The Six to mobile for the first time
- If you're in Canada or North America, you can start playing via the Samsung News App
- The Six lets you compete with questions ranging from current events to world history
Samsung Galaxy users will soon be able to play the previously TV-exclusive trivia game The Six, as it arrives on mobile for the first time today. Starting today, the Six will be first available to play on the Samsung News App in North America and Canada.
I shouldn't need to explain the appeal of trivia; whether it's showing off to your friends or simply training your brain. And it seems that Samsung's The Six, which first debuted earlier this year on their Samsung TV product line, has been a major hit with players.
In The Six, you solve six questions based on a variety of topics, whether that be entertainment, current affairs or world history. The faster you answer, the higher your score. With The Six seemingly growing into a minor obsession for some people, it's not surprising that Samsung is eager to expand it to mobile.
Riddle me thisI'm sure there'll be plenty of people excited to play The Six on mobile, and I admit while in my younger years, I was a little baffled by the popularity of trivia I've come to enjoy it. There is, after all, that mental flexibility of saying to yourself that you're both having fun and educating yourself at the same time.
However, at the moment given I'm UK-based it doesn't seem as if there's much in way of news about when I and others outside of North America and Canada will be able to access The Six. However, I'd wager if it is proving to be so popular that it's only a matter of time.
