SD Gundam G Generation Eternal: Network Test Coming to the US!
Contrary to the lack of recent news, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is alive and well! A network test is on the horizon, opening the doors for participants in the US, in addition to Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. Applications are open now until December 7th, offering 1500 lucky players a sneak peek from January 23rd to 28th, 2025.
This latest strategy JRPG installment in the beloved franchise lets players command a vast roster of pilots and mecha from the iconic Gundam universe. The SD Gundam series, known for its extensive cast of characters and machines, provides a truly massive strategic experience.
While the Gundam franchise enjoys global recognition, the SD Gundam line, featuring "super deformed" stylized mecha kits, might be less familiar to some. These charming, compact versions of iconic robots were once incredibly popular, even surpassing the original designs in popularity.
US Release Hopeful
Gundam fans are sure to eagerly anticipate this new SD Gundam title. However, Bandai Namco's track record with the series has been somewhat inconsistent, with past releases facing quality concerns or premature cancellations. Let's hope SD Gundam G Generation Eternal (a mouthful, indeed!) proves to be a high-quality addition to the franchise.
