Get ready, Pokémon TCG Pocket fans, because the game is about to get even more dazzling with the introduction of Shiny Pokémon! The Pokémon Company has just announced that Shiny versions will be sparkling their way into the digital card game with the upcoming Shining Revelry expansion.

When Are Shiny Pokémon Arriving in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, as that's when the Shining Revelry expansion will launch. This exciting update brings over 110 new cards to the game, including Shiny versions of beloved Pokémon like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. The new digital format will make these Shiny cards shimmer when tilted, adding a whole new level of visual appeal to your collection. Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder.

But that's not all! Pokémon and Trainers from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will also be joining the fray, with cards featuring Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono making their debut. From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, giving you the chance to earn a deck ticket that can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks. Ranked Matches Are Finally Coming!

Exciting news for competitive players: ranked matches are finally coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket! The first season will kick off on March 28th and run until April 27th, featuring the new Shining Revelry cards. You'll be matched against players with similar skill levels, ensuring a fair and thrilling competition.
