PlayWay has brought their unique PC and console game, Ship Graveyard Simulator, to Android devices. In this game, you take on the role of a salvage yard owner, tasked with dismantling decommissioned ships. Excitingly, a sequel is on the horizon for PS5 and Xbox Series.
What’s Your Job?
In Ship Graveyard Simulator, you're equipped with a hammer and hacksaw, ready to tackle the rusty remains of massive cargo ships. Your primary job is to break down these old vessels piece by piece, salvaging valuable materials to sustain your business. As you progress and level up, you'll encounter larger challenges like gigantic ocean liners, which require strategic planning and upgraded tools to navigate their complex passages and blocked areas.
Your routine involves dismantling ship parts, collecting materials, selling off what you don't need, and repeating the cycle. When you're ready for a new challenge, you can order a new ship from your shack, which arrives promptly at 8 a.m. Starting with basic tools, you'll unlock advanced equipment like a forge for crafting and a storage specialist to expand your inventory. You'll also gain access to a truck with its own mini-inventory, enhancing your operational efficiency.
A vendor conveniently located next to your shop is always eager to buy any surplus materials, helping you keep your cash flow steady. Check out the trailer for Ship Graveyard Simulator below to get a glimpse of the action!
Will You Try Ship Graveyard Simulator?
While Ship Graveyard Simulator doesn't involve tearing apart ship hulls directly, it offers more than just dismantling. You can engage in side quests from locals on the shoreline, such as retrieving specific materials or crafting particular items. However, don't expect a highly complex simulation; the game is designed for relaxation and unwinding, allowing you to enjoy the process of dismantling ships at your own pace.
