Thatgamecompany is set to start 2025 with a vibrant bang for their all-ages MMO, Sky: Children of the Light. If you've ever wished for more color in the game, the new Season of Radiance update is here to fulfill that desire, bringing a splash of chromatic delight to the experience.
The highlight of this update is the introduction of the Dye Workshop, located in the Aviary Village. Here, the Radiance Guide will walk you through the process of using dyes to give your cosmetics a dazzling, technicolour transformation. This isn't just about adding a few splashes of color; the update also introduces new Dark Plants that you'll need to harvest across the kingdom to create these dyes. Additionally, you can mix dyes to concoct unique and interesting hues.
If you're in need of more items to experiment with, the Season of Radiance update also introduces new hairstyles, capes, outfits, and more, providing ample opportunity to test out the full spectrum of colors available.
The Season of Radiance event is scheduled to begin on January 20th. It's surprising that it took Thatgamecompany this long to introduce such a feature, but it's sure to add a new layer of fun and engagement for both new and seasoned players.
