Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the epic conclusion of the Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has rolled out an exhilarating new update for Marvel Contest of Champions. This update introduces two captivating characters: Spider-Woman and the first Eidol Champion of 2025, Lumatrix. Dive into new quests, thrilling events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all while pursuing valuable rewards that can boost your roster.

Spider-Woman swings into action on April 17th, bringing her unique blend of spider-enhanced abilities and espionage prowess to The Contest. Meanwhile, Lumatrix dazzles and deceives as they debut on April 9th. This assassin, crafted by The Founders, wields light manipulation powers that belie a deadly intent. To add Lumatrix to your team, you'll need to gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids, with the event extending through June 4th.

The new quest, Spy Games, introduces a gripping storyline featuring Black Widow and Spider-Woman as they delve into the mysterious arrival of the Eidols. This espionage-filled adventure runs from March 9th to May 7th, offering players a chance to unravel the truth behind Lumatrix's sinister light show.

Adding to the excitement, Deadpool joins the fray with Red & Dead’s Discount Shed from April 25th to May 2nd. Convinced by Red Guardian, Deadpool offers a treasure trove of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale, running from May 7th to 14th, presents an opportunity to acquire valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event will shake things up, running from April 18th through May 2nd. By achieving milestones, players can earn Poolshields, which can be exchanged for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, rewarding those who log in regularly with free goodies.
