GSC Game World has revealed S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy - Enhanced Edition, a next-gen upgrade for the original trilogy, arriving on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on May 20.
The enhanced collection includes remastered versions of Shadow of Chernobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008), and Call of Pripyat (2009), featuring improved visuals, next-gen optimizations, and expanded mod support.
Enhanced Edition Benefits & Availability
Players who own the original trilogy on Xbox Series X|S or PS5 will receive the Enhanced Edition upgrade for free. On PC, existing owners of the classic games also get the enhanced versions at no additional cost, while new purchases include both versions in a single bundle priced at $39.99 (or $19.99 per individual title).
Note: Cross-platform saves are not supported—save data remains platform-specific.

Console players can choose from multiple performance modes:
- Xbox Series X / PlayStation 5 / PS5 Pro:
- Quality – Native 4K at 30 FPS
- Balanced – Upscaled 4K at 40 FPS (VRR required)
- Performance – Upscaled 4K at 60 FPS
- Ultra Performance – Upscaled 2K at 120 FPS (VRR required)
- Xbox Series S:
- Quality – Native 1440p at 30 FPS
- Balanced – Upscaled 1440p at 40 FPS (VRR required)
- Performance – 1080p at 60 FPS

Enhancements across all platforms include:
- Advanced lighting with god rays, screen-space reflections, and global illumination
- Higher-resolution textures and refined 3D models for characters, weapons, and environments
- Enhanced shaders for realistic water and weather effects
