Subway Surfers is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has planned an exciting global marathon for players worldwide. The festivities will kick off on May 12th, promising a thrilling experience for all fans.
The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!
The celebration starts in Copenhagen, the birthplace of Subway Surfers. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content in the Danish capital and introduces a new daily city-hopping challenge. Players will not only run through Copenhagen but can also unlock up to 21 other iconic cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To journey through these destinations, players must collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each location to unlock the next.
This update marks the 200th destination in the World Tour series, a testament to Subway Surfers' global journey that began in 2013. Currently, the game is set in Osaka, celebrating the Golden Week with neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content. The latest characters, Saru and Oni Hime, are now available. Saru can be unlocked through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime is available via a special offer. Additionally, new social features such as Player Names and Friend Lists are being introduced.
