Trinity Trigger: Android RPG with Mana-Style Action

Furyu Corporation, a Japanese game developer, has released Trinity Trigger for Android devices—an action RPG previously available on consoles and PC through Western publisher Xseed Games. This mobile version is published independently by Furyu.

Trinity Trigger’s Engaging Storyline

Players take on the role of Cyan, a young man destined to confront the Warrior of Order as the chosen Warrior of Chaos. Alongside allies Elise and Zantis, Cyan ventures across the world of Trinitia.

These companions fight by his side with the aid of Triggers—beast-like creatures that morph into eight distinct weapon types. The game allows seamless character switching mid-combat for dynamic tactical adjustments.

The narrative embraces classic JRPG elements: prophecies, lost memories, and a world balancing on the brink of destruction. Players will recognize traditional features like town exploration, NPC interactions, and dungeon crawling.

These dungeons are forged from remnants of divine weapons called Arma, offering challenging battlefields packed with puzzles, hidden treasures, and hostile creatures. Environments vary dramatically from icy tundras to scorching deserts.

Trinity Trigger’s Combat System

The combat revolves around the Weapon Wheel mechanic, enabling instant weapon swaps to target enemy vulnerabilities. Players can enhance their equipment using materials gathered throughout their journey.

The game boasts fully voiced dialogue and polished animated cutscenes that elevate its storytelling. With three playable characters—each wielding nine weapons and unique abilities—the combat stays fresh and strategic.

Available now on Google Play Store for $19.99 (note the premium pricing), Trinity Trigger offers a substantial JRPG experience.
