Not done collecting all the cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket's Celestial Guardians Expansion, which dropped just three weeks ago? Well, get ready for another one. The new expansion, Extradimensional Crisis, is set to launch on May 29, featuring the unique Ultra Beasts and the intriguing chimera Pokemon, Type: Null.
Extradimensional Crisis brings to the forefront the Ultra Beasts, those peculiar alien-like creatures that played a significant role in Pokemon Sun and Moon as invaders from another dimension. Confirmed cards in this set include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Alongside these, the expansion will introduce more Alola Pokemon to complement those from Celestial Guardians, and Type: Null, hinting at the potential inclusion of its evolution, Silvally.
With each new expansion comes fresh cosmetics. Extradimensional Crisis will offer an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover, available in exchange for shop tickets starting May 29. Additionally, a floral display board can be purchased with event tickets during the upcoming Wonder Pick event, beginning June 11.
Pokemon TCG Pocket has been consistently releasing expansions since its launch last year. Although Extradimensional Crisis is considered a minor booster expansion, featuring only one booster pack type, it follows closely on the heels of previous releases. This marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller expansion, following Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, none of the expansions have been retired, and all remain accessible in the game... for now.
