If you're new to the Archer class, this section is for you. Veterans, feel free to skip ahead. As an Archer, your strategy revolves around maintaining a safe distance from enemies and using your arrows to deal damage. While Archers can dish out significant damage, they are less resilient and rely on others to absorb hits.

Archers wear Medium armor, which offers a balance between protection and agility. Unlike classes in Light armor, Archers don't have access to protective spells or the robustness of Heavy armor. Instead, they depend heavily on teammates and Pets to take the brunt of the damage.

Tamed Pets are crucial for Archers. Initially, your pet options may be limited, but as you progress, Archers gain access to a variety of unique pets, making them one of the most versatile and powerful classes in the game.

How to Get Beast Tamer in Rune Slayer

At Level 30, Archers can choose between two subclasses: Sharpshooter or Beast Tamer. Opt for Beast Tamer as soon as you reach this level.

There's little incentive to choose Sharpshooter. While the idea of firing multiple arrows is appealing, it pales in comparison to the Beast Tamer's Alpha Predator passive ability, which allows you to tame exclusive beasts like Bears, Adult Spiders, Crocodiles, and Mud Crabs. Beast Tamers are so effective that they can tackle many group activities solo.
