Begin your journey by picking up the side quest "Lackey," which you can start by speaking with Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's home, located to the west of Tachov. Alternatively, you can initiate the quest by talking to Vitek, who is slightly southeast of the house, as indicated by the B on the map above. Zlata will send you to Vitek anyway, so it's a good starting point. This quest leads you north, where you'll encounter Vostatek being attacked by wolves.

Searching for Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After rescuing Vostatek from the wolves, he'll ask you to carry him to his camping spot where he left his horse, Pepik. Follow his directions carefully, keeping an eye on your stamina to ensure you don't drop him along the way.
Upon reaching the campsite, Vostatek discovers that Pepik is missing. Your next task is to follow the traces of Pepik along the path. As you approach each clue, you'll receive a prompt to examine it. After inspecting each clue, continue following the trail until you reach a poacher's camp.

As Vostatek suspected, Pepik has been taken by poachers in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. You'll find him at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers move around, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups rather than facing them all at once. It's easier to take down the ones patrolling the edges of the camp, and many will beg for mercy before you finish them off. You can also bypass the two tougher poachers in the camp by quickly mounting Pepik and riding away before they can attack. Note that you won't have a chance to rest between finding Vostatek and Pepik, so your health might be low depending on how the wolf fight went.
Once you've retrieved Pepik, return him to Vostatek's camp. When you speak with Vostatek, you'll have the option to ride back to his home with him, which serves as a fast travel option. Upon returning, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and a place to stay whenever you need it.
With Pepik safely back with Vostatek in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you can now pursue other quests or explore romantic storylines. Additionally, the money you've earned can be used to purchase more equipment as needed.
*Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
