Warframe: 1999 Unveils Techrot Encore Release Date, Adds New Content and Characters

The anticipation for Warframe's 1999 expansion has been palpable, and now the excitement ramps up with the upcoming Techrot Encore update, slated for release on March 19th. This update not only embraces the turn-of-the-millennium vibe but also introduces several new features that promise to keep fans engaged.

Techrot Encore brings four new Protoframes into the fray: Flare, Minerva, Kaya, and Velimir II, each adding unique flair to the battle. But the highlight is the introduction of the 60th Warframe, Temple, who comes equipped with Techrot Subwoofer minions and a sentient guitar named Lizzie, ready to rock the battlefield.

For seasoned players, two new endgame stages await. In Stage Defense, you'll protect Scaldra during a memorial show honoring fallen comrades amidst Scaldra's city conquest. Temporal Archimedea, on the other hand, challenges you to team up with Minerva and Velimir II for three consecutive missions, with the Peely Pix system shuffling your modifiers for added complexity.

A heartwarming addition comes in the form of the Atomicycle racing mini-game at the Höllvania Mall Hub's arcade, Ollie's Crash Course, fulfilling a Make-A-Wish commitment to James Conlin and adding a fun diversion to the Warframe experience.
