Wuthering Waves Version 2.0: New Region, Console Launch, and Pre-Order Rewards!

Kuro Games' hit open-world RPG, Wuthering Waves, continues to expand! Following the recent release of the content-rich 1.4 update (including the Somnoire: Illusive Realms mode and two new characters), the developers have announced the highly anticipated Version 2.0. This update promises to be the biggest yet, introducing a brand-new region and a long-awaited console debut.

The game's nomination for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2024 served as the stage for the Version 2.0 announcement. Excitingly, this marks Wuthering Waves' arrival on PlayStation 5, bringing the thrilling JRPG experience to console players.

The game's captivating blend of intricate combat, immersive world-building, and compelling narrative has already garnered a dedicated fanbase. The action unfolds on Solaris-3, a planet divided into six nations, with Huanglong, New Federation, and Rinascita currently known.

The current Huanglong storyline is nearing its conclusion. Version 2.0 will introduce Rinascita as a vast new playable region, significantly expanding both the narrative and gameplay opportunities. Expect Version 1.4 and subsequent patches to conclude the Huanglong arc in preparation for this major expansion.
