Rock band Alien Ant Farm expressed disappointment about their exclusion from the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 soundtrack, despite their track "Wish" appearing in the original fourth installment.
While the remake features returning classics like Motörhead's "Ace of Spades," numerous original tracks were replaced with new selections. The band confirmed their absence after responding to the soundtrack reveal with a sad face emoji on social media.
"Is it disappointing we weren't included? Absolutely," guitarist Terry Corso told BBC News. "We understand the need for fresh content, though I believe our track was a strong fit that resonated with players."
Lead singer Dryden Mitchell added, "While we're not punk, diverse soundtracks make these games special. Our song brought that variety to the original release."
Fan reactions to the soundtrack announcement have been divided, with some celebrating returning artists like CKY while others lament missing favorites including Red Hot Chili Peppers.
