Marvel Rivals New Characters Releases on February 21, 2025

NetEase has unveiled major updates for the second half of Marvel Rivals Season 1 through a blog post dated February 11, 2025. The spotlight shines on the addition of Human Torch, classified as a Duelist, and The Thing, classified as a Vanguard, completing the Fantastic Four lineup. This move is set to "shake up the battlefield" with significant balance adjustments planned, though specifics remain undisclosed. Expect some superheroes to be buffed or nerfed in response to these new characters.

Previously, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debuted in the first half of Season 1 as Duelist and Strategist, respectively. The season has already introduced three new maps, special events, and an exciting new game mode called Doom Match.

Each season of Marvel Rivals spans three months, split into two halves, with each segment introducing a new hero. The current season's narrative delves into a vampire-themed storyline, featuring Count Vlad Dracula as the main antagonist.
