Onimusha: Way of the Sword has the best State of Play trailer

The standout trailer from the recent State of Play was undoubtedly the new Onimusha installment. Onimusha: Way of the Sword introduces its protagonist, Miyamoto Musashi, whose character model is strikingly based on the legendary Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune. The trailer showcases Musashi’s fierce battles against demons emerging from hell into Kyoto, punctuated by moments of humorous evasion.

The story reveals Musashi, through faith, becomes the wielder of the Oni Gauntlet, tasked with battling the monsters infesting the mortal realm and absorbing their souls to restore health and unleash special abilities.

A new trailer for the Onimusha 2 remaster was also shown, providing a stark visual comparison that underscores the remarkable advancements in graphics over the years.
