Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Set for January 28th
Originally slated for a December 17th launch, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 28th. This marks the culmination of a short delay, announced in late December, to allow for further polish and optimization.
Initially released in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered widespread praise, earning a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic with an impressive 83/100 average score and a 92% recommendation rate. Its charming atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and rewarding exploration captivated critics, establishing it as a standout puzzler of 2024.
The PlayStation port's release date was confirmed on January 9th by publisher Whitethorn Games after a brief postponement. While the game's arrival is imminent, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-ordering isn't currently an option.
The PlayStation version is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with other platforms. Like its counterparts, it will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store, mirroring its absence from the Switch and Xbox versions.
Botany Manor Enhances PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup
With its arrival on PlayStation, Botany Manor will complete its initial cross-platform rollout. Developer Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project. January 28th will also see the PlayStation Store release of several other titles, including the roguelite Cuisineer, the action RPG Eternal Strands, and the tactical stealth game The Sone of Madness. The addition of Botany Manor to the PlayStation library significantly strengthens its already impressive collection of puzzle games.
