Get ready, Harry Potter fans! WB Games is unleashing a magical update for Hogwarts Legacy: mod support arrives this Thursday! This exciting feature, exclusive to PC players on Steam and the Epic Games Store, will be a key element of the upcoming patch.
The update includes the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, empowering players to craft their own dungeons, quests, and even character modifications. The renowned modding platform, CurseForge, will host and distribute these community creations, and a built-in mod manager will simplify the process of finding and installing them.
Several pre-approved mods will launch alongside the patch, including the challenging "Dungeon of Doom," promising thrilling combat and hidden secrets. However, there's a caveat: linking your gaming account to a WB Games account is required to access and utilize mods.
Beyond modding, the patch will also enhance character customization with new hairstyles and clothing options. The developers showcased examples of these additions in a recent trailer.
