If you own a Wacom One pen tablet, specifically models CTC4110WL and CTC6110WL, and use an Android device running versions 8 through 13, this information is crucial for your drawing experience. The aspect ratio of your Android device's screen differs from the drawing area on your Wacom One pen tablet, which can lead to distorted visuals on your screen when drawing. To prevent this, you need the Wacom Center app.

The Wacom Center app is designed to calculate and adjust the exact size of the drawing area on your Wacom One pen tablet, ensuring your drawings appear distortion-free on your Android device. This adjustment means that parts of the tablet's surface will remain inactive. Typically, you can select from three different options to position the drawing area on your device.

With the Wacom Center app, you can now enjoy your drawing sessions seamlessly. It's important to note that virtually all Android devices running versions 8 through 13 must be used in portrait orientation when connected to a pen tablet like the Wacom One. Drawing in landscape mode or using Desktop mode is not supported on these Android versions.

For Android 14 and Later Versions:

If you're using Android 14 or a later version, you won't need the Wacom Center app. Android 14 has built-in features that automatically ensure your drawings remain distortion-free across all device orientations. To use your Wacom One pen tablet, simply pair it via Bluetooth through your Android system settings. If you've already installed the Wacom Center app on a device running Android 14 or later, feel free to uninstall it as it's no longer required.
