To enhance connectivity and convenience, the app requests permission to access your phone’s address book, call history, SMS functions (including sending, receiving, and reading messages), call listening capabilities, and power status. This integration allows you to manage calls and messages directly from your wearable device, reducing the need to frequently check your phone while staying connected throughout the day.

Required Permissions for Service Functionality

• Location: Used to accurately record movement data and support wearable devices in fetching real-time weather information. Location data is collected continuously—even when the app runs in the background—to ensure precise and uninterrupted tracking of walking, running, and cycling routes.
• Phone Permissions: Enable making and answering calls through compatible wearable devices.
• SMS Permissions: Allow sending and receiving text messages directly from your wearable.
• Call Log Permissions: Permit wearable devices to view your call history for seamless access.
• Installed App Permissions: Required to identify apps that can send notifications after notification access is granted.
• Camera Permissions: Needed for scanning QR codes to pair devices, adding friends or family members, enabling eSIM, and accessing photo albums.
• Storage Permissions: Support device pairing via QR code, adding contacts, managing eSIM, and accessing media files.
• Contacts Permissions: Allow selection of contacts when setting up frequently used contacts on your wearable.
• Nearby Device Permissions: Required for connecting wearable or fitness devices starting from Android API level 31 (Android 12).
• Fitness Exercise Permissions: Enable the app to access motion data recorded by your phone, ensuring accurate step and activity tracking even when your wearable isn't in use.
• Calendar Permissions: Used to sync and display your fitness schedule, with YOYO providing smart suggestions based on calendar events, such as reminders when leaving a location.
• Notification Permissions: Allow the app to deliver timely alerts related to your device, workouts, and system updates.
