The Emile suite of educational resources is the result of a collaborative effort among experienced teachers, academics, and skilled game developers. Our mission has been to provide high-quality, games-based learning solutions to over 15% of primary schools across the UK & Ireland. Each resource in our range is grounded in thorough pedagogical research and has undergone rigorous testing in real classroom environments.

Emile was born out of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership and received partial funding from Innovate UK. It was developed in partnership with the Faculty of Education at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, ensuring a strong foundation in proven educational practices. This multi-award-winning platform has demonstrated a significant positive impact on student learning outcomes across key stages 1 and 2. Moreover, it helps reduce the workload of teachers, particularly when integrated with Emile's own schemes of work.

Feedback from UK teachers has been pivotal in shaping Emile's features, leading to valuable enhancements such as:

• A Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) Emulator, complete with customizable time limits, question selection, and options to slow down students for better learning;
• A comprehensive spelling scheme, meticulously aligned with statutory spelling words;
• End of unit and end of block assessments that seamlessly integrate with the White Rose scheme of work;
• Tools designed for intervention groups, including automatically generated analyses of knowledge gaps to aid targeted learning.
