Designed specifically for high-end Android devices, MAME4droid 2024 leverages the latest PC MAME version, requiring more robust specifications than its predecessors. Users should be aware that even with a high-end device, not all "modern" arcade games from the 90s and later will run at full speed or with complete compatibility. The vast library of over 40,000 supported games means that performance can vary significantly from one game to another, and some may not run at all. Please refrain from sending requests for support on specific games, as it's challenging to cater to such a broad spectrum of titles.

To get started, after installation, place your MAME-compatible zipped ROMs in the /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms folder. For additional options on managing your ROMs, be sure to read the in-app help section. Note that this version of MAME4droid is compatible only with the '0.269' romset and not with romsets from older versions.
