Heroes of History is celebrating its first anniversary, so the game’s developer and publisher, InnoGames, is offering various entertaining events and rewards. Hamburg-based InnoGames is recognized for titles such as Forge of Empires, Elvenar, and Tribal Wars.

Since its global launch on September 26th, 2024, the city-building and hero-collecting game has attracted more than 2 million registered users. Over the past year, the game has introduced 17 new features and gameplay modes, 114 in-game events, and 28 new heroes.

What’s coming during the Heroes of History first anniversary?

The celebration began with preparatory activities, including a new Anniversary Countdown, an achievement-style event. There is also a week-long 24-hour Hero Rate-Up promotion that increases chances to summon icons such as Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Dracula, Joan of Arc, Achilles, Medusa, and William Wallace.

Following this, there is a Legendary and Double Rate-Up weekend taking place from September 26th to September 29th. The developers have also added anniversary sales and free gifts that will be available until October 6th.

A fun personality quiz called Discover Your Inner Legend allows players to discover which hero best matches their character. You can try it here.

The main anniversary period runs from September 24th through October 21st, 2025. It will bring back all seasonal heroes released in 2025, allowing players to recruit figures such as Amelia Earhart, Blackbeard, and Mozart.

During the same timeframe, there is also a Summon of the Stars leaderboard event running from September 24th to September 29th.

Visual updates are part of the Heroes of History first anniversary update. The developers have released a new anniversary logo, an updated loading screen, and five Meet the Team videos that provide insight into the team behind the game.
