The main goal of the game is to win tricks that contain tens. Designed for four players divided into two partnerships sitting opposite each other, the game uses a standard 52-card deck. The player who draws the highest card becomes the first dealer, who then shuffles and deals 13 cards to each player.

Mindi offers two exciting modes for endless fun:

- **Hide Mode:** Here, the player to the dealer's right selects a card and places it face down on the table, which becomes the trump suit for that round.

- **Cut Mode:** In this mode, the game starts without a chosen trump suit. If a player cannot follow the suit led, the card they play determines the trump suit for that hand.

Once the trump suit is set, the highest trump card played wins the trick. If no trump cards are played, the highest card of the suit led takes the trick. The trick winner leads the next trick, and each captured trick is placed in a face-down pile by the winner.

A partnership wins the hand if they capture three or four tens. Capturing all four tens is known as Mendicot, marking a significant achievement.
