With the RTX 4090 now discontinued, finding one has become increasingly challenging. However, Dell offers two prebuilt gaming PCs equipped with this powerhouse GPU at competitive prices. The Alienware Aurora R16, starting at $2,999.99, and the Dell Tower Plus, starting at $2,849.99, are currently the most affordable options for an RTX 4090-equipped system. Other manufacturers like Lenovo and HP have stopped offering RTX 4090 prebuilt PCs.

How does the RTX 4090 stack up against current cards?

The RTX 4090 is the top performer among the RTX 40 series GPUs. Only the RTX 5090, with its $2,000 MSRP, surpasses it in performance. The RTX 4090 excels at running games at 4K resolution with over 60 fps, even with maximum settings and ray tracing enabled, particularly when DLSS is utilized. Path tracing is the only setting that challenges it, but it's rarely used outside of benchmarks or for show.
