Re-rolling your Avowed character? This guide shows you how to respec abilities, attributes, and even your companion.
Why Respec?
Choosing the right build at the start can be tricky. If your Avowed character isn't playing as you envisioned – perhaps you went full wizard and are getting wrecked – respeccing is your solution. Later in the game, respeccing lets you optimize your build for maximum combat effectiveness.
Respeccing Abilities
To reset your ability points, open the menu, go to the "Abilities" section, and find the "Reset Points" option near the bottom. It initially costs 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing with game progress. Confirm the reset and pay the fee. Note: "Godlike" abilities are excluded and obtained through in-game choices.
Respeccing Attributes
Happy with your abilities but not your attributes? Open the menu, navigate to the "Character" section. At the bottom, below the attribute list, you'll find a button to reset attribute points. The initial cost is 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing over time. Pay the price to reclaim your points.
Respeccing Companions
To respec your companion, open the menu, go to "Abilities," then select the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll see a button to reset their points for a Copper Skeyt cost. Remember, each companion requires individual respeccing.
Mastering respeccing in Avowed ensures your character evolves alongside your gameplay. Avowed is available now.
