Embark on the thrilling and challenging side quest known as the Carnival of Doom in Once Human, a post-apocalyptic survival strategy game developed by Exptional Global. With the game's mobile release scheduled for April 23rd, and many players already pre-registered for exclusive rewards, the Carnival of Doom presents a sinister challenge orchestrated by the enigmatic clown, Chuckles. This detailed guide will walk you through the steps to successfully navigate and conquer this quest, ensuring you outsmart Chuckles and emerge victorious.

How to Navigate to the Carnival of Doom Quest in Once Human

Before diving into the navigation, let's review an overview of the quest:

Quest Name: Carnival of Doom
Quest Type: World Task
Recommended Level: 10
Location: Junkyard in Broken Delta, southwest of Meyer’s Market
Objective: Defeat Chuckles in a rigged game of Russian Roulette

The Carnival of Doom quest officially begins in the Junkyard POI, southwest of Meyer’s Market. Although the recommended level is 10, skilled players can tackle it at lower levels. Be prepared to encounter Rosetta soldiers in the area; ensure your weapons are upgraded to handle them efficiently without sustaining too much damage.

Upon initiating the quest, you'll be transported to a surreal, toy-like dimension controlled by Chuckles. Your primary goal is to defeat him in a rigged game of Russian Roulette. To overcome his deceitful tactics, follow these steps:

  1. Avoid Immediate Engagement: Refrain from engaging in the game with Chuckles immediately, as the setup is rigged against you, ensuring failure.
  2. Activate Spacetime Vision: Use the 'Q' key to activate your Spacetime Vision, which will reveal a cable connected to the roulette table leading to a hidden area.
  3. Trace the Cable: Follow the illuminated cable to a wall where you'll find another figure resembling Chuckles manipulating the game.
  4. Request a Break: Return to Chuckles and choose the dialogue option requesting fresh air. This will cause him to unlock a door, allowing access to the area behind the wall.
  5. Confront the Deceptive Clown: Enter through the unlocked door and stealthily approach the room where the second Chuckles is operating the cheating mechanism. Since firearms are disabled here, equip a melee weapon and take him down.
  6. Disable the Cheating Device: After neutralizing the second Chuckles, interact with the Roulette Cheating Device to deactivate it, ensuring a fair game.
  7. Challenge Chuckles Again: Return to the main area and accept Chuckles' challenge once more. Opt to pull the trigger yourself. With the cheating mechanism disabled, the game will now be in your favor, leading to Chuckles' defeat.

Quest Rewards

Successfully completing the Carnival of Doom quest will reward you with:

  • Energy Link: x200
  • Experience Points: x500
  • Stellar Planula: x7
  • Eclipse Cortex Lv. 2: x1
  • Voodoo Doll Deviation: A unique item capable of absorbing a portion of incoming damage or redirecting damage to enemies when deployed.

For an enhanced gaming experience, consider playing Once Human on a larger screen using your PC or laptop with BlueStacks, utilizing a keyboard and mouse for better control and precision.
