Krafton's mobile version of Ironmace's popular dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, will initially debut in Canada. However, a global launch is planned for the first half of the year.
Dark and Darker blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawler mechanics. Players, solo or in parties, explore a vast dungeon, battling monsters and rival players to secure loot. Characters include familiar fantasy archetypes like fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, and bards.
Following the success of Ironmace's PC version, Krafton acquired the mobile adaptation rights. Significant improvements are underway, including:
- Darkswarm and Escape System Overhauls: These systems will be refined, particularly to enhance party gameplay.
- Dungeon Structure Improvements: Expect structural changes to better facilitate cooperative play.
- Enhanced Class Differentiation: More unique basic attacks and combat mechanics will distinguish classes.
- Expanded Weapon and Skill Variety: A broader range of weapons and skills are being added.
