Epic Games Store Launches on Mobile: 20 New Games, Free Game Offer

After months of anticipation, Epic Games has finally launched its store on mobile platforms, making the Epic Games Store available on Android devices globally. To celebrate this milestone, Epic is showering its users with a range of exciting rewards, including free games and exclusive in-game bonuses.

Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?

Epic Games is shining the spotlight on three major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Excitingly, Fall Guys is now free to download and play on mobile devices through the Epic Games Store. By downloading the Epic Games Store app and these games, players can participate in exclusive in-game challenges to unlock unique cosmetics. These include a special Fortnite outfit with matching back bling, pickaxe, and wrap, as well as a new Fall Guys bean costume. Additionally, players can earn a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim for use in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. Keep in mind, these quests are exclusive to the mobile platform.

It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games

Beyond the trio of highlighted games, the Epic Games Store on mobile boasts nearly 20 third-party titles from various developers. Moreover, Epic has initiated a Free Games program tailored for mobile users. Currently, Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee is available for free on both Android and iOS via the Epic Games Store app, and this offer lasts until February 20th. Playdigious has also contributed to the store's lineup by making Shapez and Evoland 2 available. In the coming weeks, they plan to add Cultist Simulator as well. Additionally, Bloons TD 6 is set to join the Epic Games Store soon. While the free games are currently offered on a monthly basis, Epic plans to transition to weekly free game releases later this year.

Despite the challenges posed by Apple and Google in downloading third-party app stores, Epic Games is pushing forward, making gaming more accessible to a broader audience. This move not only expands the gaming community but also enhances the variety of gaming experiences available to players. What are your thoughts on this development?
