Fortnite Rumored to Crossover with Popular Anime Kaiju No. 8

Recent leaks suggest a potential crossover between the immensely popular battle royale game, Fortnite, and the acclaimed anime series, Kaiju No. 8. Given Kaiju No. 8's current global popularity, this collaboration seems plausible. Further fueling speculation, rumors also point to a possible Demon Slayer crossover.

The addition of Godzilla to Fortnite on January 17th, accessible via the Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass, already hints at a focus on monster-themed content. This follows Fortnite's Winterfest event and the first major 2025 update, which introduced new cosmetics, instrument back blings and pickaxes, and a local co-op mode for Fortnite Festival.

Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX tweeted about the potential Kaiju No. 8 collaboration. Kaiju No. 8, which started as a manga and received an anime adaptation in 2024 (with a second season slated for 2025), centers around Kafka Hibino, a young man who gains kaiju-transforming abilities. The series' plot involves his involvement with an organization dedicated to eliminating these monsters. Potential Demon Slayer and MonsterVerse Additions

Beyond Kaiju No. 8, multiple leakers suggest a Demon Slayer crossover is also in the works. While details remain scarce, fans anticipate new cosmetics in the Item Shop, and some hope for map representation of characters from both anime. Further leaks indicate the potential arrival of additional MonsterVerse characters, including King Kong and Mechagodzilla, to join Godzilla in Fortnite.
