Rome's newest and largest video game museum, GAMM (Game Museum), has officially opened its doors to the public! Located in the vibrant Piazza della Repubblica, this impressive museum is the vision of Marco Accordi Rickards, a writer, journalist, professor, and CEO of Vigamus.
Rickards, a passionate advocate for preserving video game history and culture, describes GAMM as an immersive journey blending historical context, technological advancements, and interactive gameplay exploration. The museum builds upon the legacy of Vigamus, another successful Rome-based gaming museum that has attracted over two million visitors since its 2012 opening.
GAMM boasts an expansive 700 square meter space across two floors, divided into three captivating thematic sections. Before delving into the details, take a quick virtual tour!
