Get ready, Genshin Impact fans! Version 5.3, titled "Incandescent Ode of Resurrection," is launching January 1st, 2025, bringing a massive wave of new content. Prepare for new characters, story additions, abilities, and a generous helping of free rewards!
While the wait until the New Year might be tough, the rewards are well worth it. Expect a bounty of free gifts including 1600 Primogems, a new glider (Wings of Fate's Course Intertwined), 10 Intertwined Fates, a free four-star Liyue character, and a new outfit for Xiangling. These rewards will be distributed through in-game mail, daily login events, and the upcoming Festive Fever event.
But that's not all! Version 5.3 significantly expands the game's narrative with Act Five of the Natlan Archon Quest. Mauvika and the Traveler will finally confront the Abyss, and players will gain access to the new Pyro element. Three new characters—the five-star Mavuika and Citlali, and the four-star Lan Yan—will debut, each boasting unique abilities. Mavuika even gets a motorbike!
