Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn Launches, Concluding the Penacony Chapter
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.
This significant update features two new 5-star characters:
- Sunday: A 5-star Imaginary character specializing in team support. His abilities enhance ally damage and summon damage, with his ultimate providing regeneration and further damage boosts.
- Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire version of Tingyun. Mastering enemy defense shattering, Fugue weakens opponents and increases squadmates' Break Effect damage.
Returning characters Jing Yuan and Firefly are also featured in a limited Warp event. Version 2.7 also includes new Astral Express features: a relaxation area called the Party Car, and customizable Trailblazer quarters accessible through the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event.
Players can also claim additional rewards by redeeming Honkai: Star Rail codes.
Future updates, including Version 3.0, promise further enhancements such as Relic system refinements, the Path of Remembrance storyline continuation, new memosprites, and a free 5-star character via the Gift of the Express event (available until Version 3.2).
